Welcome to one of the sweetest little towns in the country.  Sugar Land was aptly named after the towering sugarcanes that once covered its country sides.  Originally owned by the Mexican government, the land was granted to Samuel M. Williams by Stephen F. Austin in early 1800’s.  By mid Century, the land was purchased by a couple of southern prospectors made rich by the California gold rush.  With the addition of the rail road and sugar mills, Sugar Land quickly became one of the most profitable towns in Texas.

Today, Sugar land is a quaint but trendy little oasis in a middle of a bustling metropolitan power center.  Approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown Houston, Sugar Land exemplifies southern hospitality and charm.

Sugar Land has once again been named one of FBI’s "Safest Cities" in America, as well as securing its unrivalled position as one of New York Times’ “Top Cities for Families”.

Trent InternationalE School is an elite Private School, nestled on a quite retreat in the heart of Sugar Land’s fashionable First Colony Town Center.

Trent InternationalE School's digital learning program  teaches students how to use Web 2.0 tools, to become truly media literate as they function in an online collaborative, research-based environment – researching, analyzing, synthesizing, critiquing, evaluating and creating new knowledge!

Students participate in a wide variety of Sports Programs- Golf, Tennis, Soccer, Track and Basketball. The Basketball Prep Team competes at a national level and has finished their season with a record of (38-2); placing 2^nd in Nation.

Students in accelerated programs achieve honor status in many academic arenas including Duke University (SAT), NLC, NJHS, NHS and Study-Abroad programs such as Oxbridge, UK.

Trent provides extra-curricular programs in the Arts, including Music, Dance, Drama, Drawing and Painting. Courses are taught by skilled artists, actors, and musicians qualified to discover, and enhance the child's talents.

Trent's summer Program offers not only academics but also an Elite Basketball Academy taught by Olympic medalists and former professional athletes.  Academic classes are available in core credit courses for high school students, as well as enrichment programs in Mathematics and English for the lower grades.  Other programs include PSAT and SAT Training, Etiquette/Life Skills, Dance, Drama and Golf.
